Notes From the Design Studio: Charting how Designers Design with and for Data – Arran Ridley (University of Leeds)
Reflecting on two visits to a commercial design studio with a focus on data-driven products, this talk will look at the way designers design with and for data. This talk will draw on observations, interviews and analysis of design artefacts to look at issues around representation, data access, and the role of the user in the design process.
